Overview

Do you love working outdoors in Kiwifruit Orchards or Vineyards?

Thompson’s Horticulture is looking for additional people to join our local crews in Gisborne and Ōpōtiki.

We can offer you:

Start date - Immediate
On-the-job training
Pay rate - Minimum $23.15 - $28 (based on the experience you bring to the role)
Transport to work (depending on availability)

We're heading into our Spring thinning season so you will get to know more about tasks like bud thinning in kiwifruit and more about how we set up both our kiwifruit orchards and our vineyards for a productive harvest next year.

Ideally you will have:

1+ years' experience working in the orchards or vineyards, however this is not essential
demonstrated reliability, determination and motivation
a strong team focus
the legal right to work in NZ

We're also keen to add to our crew van drivers pool - we'd love to hear from you if you have a full drivers license and you're keen to help transport our crews to and from work.
